Off piste skiing

The ski lifts give access to fantastic itineraries, chosen at their optimum, and ideal to adapt the techniques to the snow and slopes conditions.

Ski touring allows a full immersion in alpine winterland, and favours total enjoyment.

This is what I propose during our outings, from a half-day to 3 days courses.

Ideas around Briançon ?

  • La Grave - la Meije: kingdom of off-piste skiing !

Now qualified as one of the best rider spots in the world, the majestic mountain of La Meije provides the perfect environment for off-piste skiing on the glaciers (Girose), and through the larch forests, from 3600m down to 1400m in altitude.

The main itinerary doesn’t present any difficulties, but numerous options are possible, from the steep (les Trifides,Banane, or Patou couloirs),to the adventurous (Chirouze, la Voûte…)

  • Serre Chevalier Monétier.

Serre Chevalier Monetier is a paradise of virgin sunny valleys, and an ideal access to the alpine slopes of les Ecrins. Off piste are long and numerous : La Montagnole , le Prorel, les Guibertes, les Corneilles, the descent towards les Combes or towards Pelvoux, etc ...

We can also plan diverse paths together in Chamonix, Tarentaise, or where your dreams aspire to bring you…

This activity offers the opportunity to initiate yourself to all security elements, to learn about the variability and stability of the snow, and to simulate avalanche rescue missions with safety equipment.

As for each mountain activity, my objective is always double: enjoy and learn, to progress towards autonomy.

Off piste training course: 2 to 3 days in the Ecrins country: La Grave- la Meije, Serre Chevalier, Montgenèvres, Puy St Vincent, Queyras stations

You are longing to ski nice slopes full of white powder in security with a mountain guide.

The stations of La Grave - la Meije, Serre Chevalier, Montgenèvres, Puy St Vincent or Queyras offer many wilde places. There are so many possibilities that it is very rare we could not find good snow conditions on slopes adapted to your level somewhere !

The region enjoys ideal weather and snow conditions due to many climatic influences : it can be snowing at La Grave and be very sunny in the Queyras and conversly !

The larch forests are also a fantastic refuge for the ski when the avalanche risk is high.
