You are longing to discover the nicest off piste from a specific station, or to follow the best snow conditions, or to have an initiation day ... everything (or nearly) is possible according your desires and your level ! |
Level requested for an initiation:
-To be in good shape.
-To be able to ski a black ski-run, allows to quickly appreciate off piste skiing.
The place:
They are a large number of ski stations around Briançon in the Hautes-Alpes.
There are so many possibilities that it is very rare we could not find good snow conditions on slopes adapted to your level somewhere !
The region enjoys ideal weather and snow conditions due to many climatic influences : it can be snowing at La Grave and be very sunny in the Queyras and conversly !
The larch forests are also a fantastic refuge for the ski when the avalanche risk is high.
When: from mid-december to end of april.
My price : 280 € per day.
This price included :
-my services as an High Mountain Guide,
-the transportation with my car in the region between the gite and the mountains,
-the organization, the bookings for the stay,
You will have to pay : the rest ...
-Your transportation towards the Hautes-Alpes (Briancon, Guillestre, or other) :
-your half-board (optional) ,
-if need be, your ski and shoes rent,
-drinks and personal expenses.

It can be also very interesting to have ski touring gears (rented) to leave far away from the station. So, we will use the ski lift to minimise the walk, but we will enjoy wilder mountains.

The gears:
I will bring the collective and aids gears : a first aid box, maps, GPS, satellite phone, and an "Arva + spade + probe" per person (if you do not have yours).
